 Former
English teacher Denise Loock is a freelance writer. Her work
has appeared in a variety of publications, including The
Secret Place devotional magazine , The Upper Room
devotional magazine (Mar/Apr 2010), Penned from the Heart,
Cross and Quill, A Cup of Comfort for New Mothers,
Chicken Soup for the Soul: What I Learned from the Cat,
The Lighthouse Christian Magazine, and EFCA Today
(Winter 2009). Denise has also taught a weekly women’s
Bible study at her church, Montgomery Evangelical Free Church
in Belle Mead, NJ, for twelve years. Over the last four years,
she has developed and taught her own Bible study curriculum:
The Life of Joseph, The Life of Moses, and The Life of Joshua.
Currently she is developing and teaching lessons on 1 Samuel.
Denise has a BA degree in Elementary Education and Secondary
Education: English from Cedarville University in Cedarville,
Ohio. She has a MA degree in Twentieth Century British Literature
from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.

Dwight Ritter's latest book is Emerson the Magnificent,
published by Lighthouse Publishing, is his 13th book which
spans a prolific career as a writer and graphic designer.
Educational curricula, children's books, fiction, business
books, lyrics for tv commercials, and magazine articles illustrates
his varied interests. Over the past thirty years he has written
15 publishing titles via Harper and Row, Prentice Hall, Wiley,
Allyn & Bacon, Irwin, Dell, Coronet Instructional Media,
and Noble & Noble. |
 Pat
Patterson is a writer, a photographer, and an instructor of
Emergency Medical Science. His stories are true, based on
real life experiences and from time spent on the streets of
Durham, North Carolina where he served as a paramedic for
seventeen years.
Pat is a winner of the Blue Ridge Christian Writers Conference.
His devotional book, Answering the Call, was
released in 2010.

 Eddie
Jones is the co-founder of Christian Devotions Ministries.
He is Acquisition Editor of Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas,
an imprint of Christian Devotions Ministries. Eddie has authored
four non-fiction books, one young adult novel, an adult romantic
comedy and written over a hundred articles that have appeared
in over 20 different publications. He is co-founder of Christian
Devotions Ministries and a contributing writer for, CBN.com,
Common Ground Christian News, The Ocracoke Observer,
and Living Aboard Magazine, among other publications.
